Recently, I took part in an amazing wedding styled shoot at Five Bridge Inn in Rehoboth, MA. It was a true honor to participate and photograph at Five Bridge Inn. This wedding styled shoot was a huge undertaking. There were 16 vendors working together from MA , RI to UK and Canada. It was an amazing experience working with these creative professionals.
Throughout the day, wedding vendors from around Massachusetts and Rhode Island worked together to showcase early spring wedding inspiration. By the time we were done, this shoot had captured the look and the feel of a luxury and romantic wedding. It went on to be published by Let’s Bee Together, a UK-based publication! Can you imagine we actually just got it done in time before the thunder storm hit us?

Five Bridge Inn Wedding Shoot
When orchestrating a styled shoot like this one, I like to focus on the romance of a wedding day. The true feelings behind the images. And, of course, with a styled shoot, there’s an amazing amount of creative license that I get as a wedding photographer! That’s why I loved being able to capture this wedding inspiration photoshoot at the Five Bridge Inn, a charming wedding venue.
Five Bridge Inn has a classic New England look and feel. However, it provides the perfect balance of rustic charm and understated elegance. The Inn itself has bedrooms to accommodate up to 14 guests. It’s perfect for bride and groom getting ready. Five Bridge Inn has an elegant tent for an elegant outdoor event or a barn imbued with New England rustic charm. With miles of trails through pastures and woodlands, there are so many different places for your outdoor wedding portraits.
GROOM’S WEDDING STYLE INSPIRATION
In this styled shoot, I also took time and care to capture special moments with the groom and groomsmen. All too often, we focus on making that storybook wedding for a bride, but it’s his day, too!
There are plenty of options for grooms to add little details that showcase their style.
- you could share cigars with your groomsmen. A monogrammed humidor is a handsome and sophisticated touch.
- Another idea is to share some aged Scotch or bourbon with groomsmen in stylish glasses. Traditionally, when photographing a wedding, there are plenty of shots of the ring, the bride’s shoes and the bride’s gown. But capturing the groom’s details is especially important as well. I love to include the sharp, crisp details of a folded pocket square, the handsome details of a groom’s heirloom cufflinks or a close shot of his boutonniere. These personalized details really set the tone of the day. So many grooms put time, care and thought into their wedding day style. Or maybe the brides spent time to put everything together. It’s important to me to make sure it is preserved through wedding photography for either him or her or both.
Don’t be afraid to ask me if you need ideas! I have worked with plenty of wedding vendors in New England area. I know some of the best. I’m looking forward to working with you to make wedding everything you want it to be!
