Emily & Joe’s Romantic and Intimate ICA Boston Wedding
I’m still gushing over this beautiful and intimate ICA Boston wedding( Institute of Contemporary Art ) which Emily had put together in a month with her family’s help during COVID-19. Joe and Emily were engaged around Valentine’s Day this year, right before the pandemic. With all the uncertainty during this time, they decided to tie the knot this year. Emily contacted me about one month before her wedding day. We got everything done quickly from consultation to booking and finalize the timeline. We nailed it!
This ICA Boston wedding started with getting ready at the popular Seaport district hotel, the Boston Harbor Hotel with a beautiful view. The ladies were pumped. The gentlemen were looking sharp. I got a group of James Bond ( groom and groomsmen) to photograph. LOL… This part of the day went by quickly. I was excited to see the gorgeous reception setup at this ICA Boston wedding. The ICA is the perfect and unique place to hold your wedding with a combination of stunning works of art and breathtaking views of Boston’s harbor and skyline.
I knew this particular ICA Boston wedding would be different from usually indoor ICA receptions because of the COVID restrictions. I was blown away by the elegant greeneries, candles, and lux beautiful centerpieces. As the night was falling, the courtyard was lit by the candles, overhead string lights, and surround Boston skylight. It was a perfect setup for this romantic ICA Boston wedding reception at the courtyard. Congratulations to Emily & Joe, this fun and loving couple! Now here comes their mini-moon to Portland ME!
Love Story
Joe and I met on a group vacation for the 2017 super bowl. We began talking there and never looked back. We have been dating ever since. Joe and I love spending time outdoors together and sneaking up to our respective family homes in Maine. Family is extremely important to us- we would do anything to make them feel loved and safe. Joe and I tend to go with the flow, we love going out in Boston or Maine with friends but are also happy with a cozy movie night. We just enjoy being with each other and the people we love!
What do you love about each other
Emily: I love the way Joe makes me laugh my way through life and always keeps me smiling. Even when I’m mad!

I really loved all the formal dances under the stars and string lights at this ICA Boston wedding. Emily’s dad surprised her with “You are the Sunshine of My Life” by Stevie Wonder- She didn’t know it until she stepped on the dance floor! Her heart just melted.
