I fell in love photographing Danielle and Matt’s perfect summer The Red Barn at Outlook Farm wedding, in charming South Berwick, ME,
I asked Danielle what was the reason this venue had her heart as wedding venue? She said she loves it because The Red Barn at Outlook Farm has a rustic feel with chic elements that she was looking for her wedding.

RED BARN AT OUTLOOK FARM WEDDING SOUTH BERWICK , ME
Danielle and Matt met at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. Matt played baseball while Danielle played soccer. They knew of each other. However they never officially met until they had a class together.
One day in class, their professor said everyone was being to chatty. So she asked people to switch seats. Danielle ran right over to sit next to Matt! And they have been inseparable every since!
She loves him being a very kind and loving person. He admires her because of her sense of humor and her motivation. What a fun loving couple! They both tell people how they so quickly became each other’s family.
I have witnessed their love within families that I alway admire and value so much. They each fit right in immediately with each others.
We started photographing while the couples were getting ready in Homewood Suites in Portsmouth, NH. Ladies had a such a blast opening a bottle of champagne to celebrate before the ceremony. The excitement and happiness were filled in the air. So as the champagne.
I have seen many photos of The Red Barn at outlook Farm wedding photos. However this rustic and chic barn wedding in ME has its special place in my heart. It was full of soft and romantic colors of creme, ivory, peach, blush and navy blue.
ROMANTIC, RUSTIC AND CHIC WEDDING
There were so many details to photograph from Betsey John bridal shoes, gorgeous bridal gown with layers of tulles to gorgeous floral arrangement by F As In Flowers. The reception center pieces were arranged in different ways to mix and match perfectly.
I was trying to get some bridal portraits done before the ceremony. However, it was a little tough on find a right location without being seen by the groom and some early guests. You know, there are always some early arrivers on a wedding day.
You may not think the location we used is pretty in persons. It’s just an outdoor patio space on the back side of reception hall. This is where you need to trust your photographers for location!!!
These bridal portraits are beyond gorgeous!!! Danielle was nervous. She felt she was always awkward in front of camera. I am so glad she was comfortable with me. Boy, we had so much fun.
There were many emotional moments throughout the wedding day. I was so honored to captured those moments to share with the newlyweds. I hope these photos will walk them through their amazing wedding day all over again.
The music was pumping. People were dancing as night went on. Danielle and Matt were having fun dancing and singing along with their friends and family. Can’t you believe their 90+ year old grandmother was dancing away as well to celebrate this special occasion?! It was definitely a three generation celebration!
Please check out amazing vendors in NH and MA for this fabulous wedding at end of the collages.
