Dinning Experience at Gibbet Hill Grill
Now, let’s talk about their food. There are couple of other wedding venues in Groton, MA. However, as a local wedding photographer in Groton area, I don’t think I’ll find anywhere else has the juice, tender filet mignon like Gibbet Hill. The Gibbet Hill has two buildings on site which The Barn at Gibbet Hill is one of them which is for wedding event only. Another building is called Gibbet Hill Grill which is open for public dinning. Well, I never attended a wedding at Gibbet Hill before. However, I have had plenty of delicious filet mignon at Gibber Hill Grill since I moved to Dunstable and discover this fine dinning restaurant in Groton.
Farm Fresh to Table
Do you know across from The Barn at Gibbet Hill wedding venue is the famous Gibbet Hill Grill? It has its own farm with 80 acres of land right behind the restaurant? Nothing beats the fresh supplies in a food industry, am I right? From the a Black Angus cattle farm to growing produce for its own restaurants and other businesses within the Webber Restaurant Group, such as The Bancroft and Fireside.
The farm is a fun place to visit while you are waiting for your table. Especially if you are bring your kids along.
As a local photographer, I always love to Gibbet Hill for some perfect photos. I have done an engagement session at The Barn at Gibbet Hill wedding venue. It was a chilly day in Feb. But everything on that hill behind The Barn at Gibbet Hill was so quiet and still. It was peaceful. The bare tree branches and brown grass on the hill gave a whimsical vibe. I never thought a winter outdoor session would be beautiful. But I loved it instead.
The later spring after this engagement session, I return and explored Gibbet Hill Castle, also known as Bancroft Castle. The mysterious remains of Gibbet Hill Castle intrigued me for a wedding styled shoot. But first, you have to climb up a steep hill to reach the top. I was huffing and puffing. But it was all worth it because it is truly incredible location with a history and amazing view.
