The Dane Estate Wedding | Boston Wedding Photographer
Every bride dreams a fairytale like this The Dane Estate Wedding that Jessica and Dallis had this year. The Dane Estate at Pine Manor College was built in 1891 with beautiful Queen Anne architectural style with larger tower and turret adding more charming characteristics. It is perfect for a dream come true wedding. Wait until you see some photos in front and inside of the manor 🙂
To Jess and Dallis, this was the only venue they walked through and turned to each other and said that could be it when they left. They said it just felt like us – not too big, not sterile like a ballroom. It had some character and was elegant.
Jess and Dallis first met in Mrs. Junior’s first grade class in the fall of 2000. On June 13, 2008 (hence their original wedding date), they attended the eighth grade dance together at Hardyston Middle School. Dallis asked Jess if she would be his girlfriend during the last slow dance of the night, and the rest is history. We stayed together through high school, and after navigating the freshman year challenges of going to different colleges, we pulled off a long distance relationship until we each graduated in 2016. We moved in together shortly after.
On April 13, 2019 (after having the engagement ring for about 3 days) Dallis decided he couldn’t wait to propose any longer. They went on a hike at the Blue Hills Reservation on a perfectly warm and sunny spring day, and once Dallis was finally able to find them a moment alone on a secluded overlook, he asked Jess to marry him.
Jess love his humor, wit and his caring for others. Dallis admires her loving, adventurous characters. He thinks she makes everything more fun. They love puzzles, going on a hike, traveling or just staying in and having some fun with xbox.
Beautiful Garden Ceremony at The Dane Estate Wedding
The tall matured pink Rhododendron Roseum is a perfect backdrop for their ceremony. The wood altar installation with some greenery and purple flowers blended in perfectly and naturally with the natural surroundings. The tears of joy and laughters were flowing in the air. Dallis couldn’t hold back his tears while he was watching Jess walking down the aisle even though he already saw her in her gorgeous Allure Bridal wedding gown at their first look.
Old Age Charms at The Dane Estate Wedding
On top of the grand staircase, there’s a moon shaped sitting area with large panel of tall windows. It is full of old English charm. I had the vision in mind when I was scouting the locations for bride and groom portraits. But the timing. The timing had it even more perfect. During the cocktail, the golden sunlight was perfectly shining through the corner of the window. My vision became alive, the moody but yet romantic portraiture for this couple. It literally turns this couple into prince and princess in this beautiful castle.
Moody is not my usually style. But when I have opportunity to capture a wedding at venue with old age charms and characteristic, I need to embrace it and bring out the beauty because it is party of the reason why the couple fell in love with venue at first place.
